the best softwear for z4 35i !!!

Hi
as we have seen at the forums there was alot manufacturer whom have the full parts and upgrade for our z4 35i. and one topic that been raised about the tuner company for each part of the car, although i were confused which tuner is the best to go for?

ac schnitzer & G-power as German we can trust there product although they requist to send the ecu to them to be programed !

Dinan also required to visit any authorized dealer and i cant find one here next to my country.

here now i found many people going with the Juice Box (JB3), and some little whom deal with active autowerk.

my qustion for all of you as a z435i owners, if you got the choice to tune your car, which software would you select, dinan, JB,G-power, autowerk processor?

if you have any further company that worth to look for please add it here.

NOTE:correct me if i have written any wrong information)

Check out ESS Tuning. ESS offers their tune with a handheld unit that allows for minimal downtime. Feel free to contact any IND representative for more information.

ESS Tuning is also a very reputable and solid solution for software tuning. Also a less known but also very good German tuner is SKN Tuning, they are the official tuner for the German Police cars.

It was between JB3/4 and ESS for me. I went with ESS because of the DirectFlash unit which allowed me to do it from home. It is such a simple process if you follow the directions but the results are so amazing. With the ESS Stage 2, it is like a whole new car. The engine runs so differently and even sounds different (more muscle).

It takes about 15 minutes to write the new maps and you're good to go. When I need to take it into the dealer, I just plug in the DF and I'm back to stock when need be.

I couldn't recommend it more.

I have the ESS and am very happy with the way it gives me completely new car with much different power delivery band, turbo kickin n much quicker and the car feels a whole lot faster,
But i recently measured the timing using the vbox using launch control and 0-100 was 5.1 secs and 1/4 mile was 13.5 secs - which are exact same as the stock figures for the 35i. What i am going to do is rerun the test with stock file and see what results i get

But definately with the change in power delivery graph the car feels much quicker vs stock on twisties

ESS all the way!

The COBB Accessport could prove to be interesting if it works on the Z4. There is someone on this board that is testing it for COBB I believe.
