BMW sure...

missed the boat (screwed up) by not offering Silver Gray.

This sure looks like it to me.

Ok...maybe it is Arctic Metallic. It sure does not look like what I have seen in person.

It does look like silver grey now you mention it. Or is it that mischevous Arctic again?

Why did they make remove that colour for the E90? I don't get it. If that was available I would have gone with it.

One of the best colours.

Yes, a beautiful color for sure. After seeing arctic in person yesterday though, I would even have choose it over SG.

Oh wow that's an awesome color! When I first saw those pics I thought it was just arctic silver being its old chameleon self, but there's no way now that I've looked at these pics more. Obviously they already built one with this color, so unless it was built under BMW Individual program, I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the new colors offered? But then again, none of these new color swatches show this as one of the new colors?? Confused

My guess is that they are making that colour a special order colour. BMW aren't stupid, they know it is a highly desired colour, and what better way to make extra wonga...Cheeky

DAMN! Its beautiful its the perfect compromise of the bright silver and the super dark SG. Argh, so frustrating that we cant have that color on the E90. Its also more frustrating that I can't wait to buy mine later in case they start to offer it.

It won't fly in the US. Not too many are willing to fork out $2k for paint. It was a popular color on the outgoing E46, maybe they'll come to their senses?

I think it is in fact the arctic color, just under dimmer lighting conditions.

And yes, those picture are incredible. Thanks to autospies for the pictures and those on the board for posting them in different threads.

The car is Artic. The first time I saw it in person was on a gray rainy day and it looks almost exactly like silver gray. Only under strong light does the blue/green come out. It's a very odd color.

Arctic, in the Florida sunshine, always looks like a light metallic blue with an tinge of beige kicked in. It's strange that it looks so dark on a cloudy day.

Could this be the world's MOST unsafe color for a car? It matches the color of the sky ALL THE TIME! (this is a joke, btw)

It's Arctic, exactly the same color as what I saw in Hong Kong BMW showroom. Even under strong sun light, it show a very little bit green and blue only. I think it's because of it's strong matellic effect.
I changed from SG to Arctic after seeing the real demo of Arctic in the show room.

After seeing Arctic in person i dont think there is anyway that could be the same color. Really looks silver gray to me also. Look at the lower parts on the car. Its way too dark to be arctic to me

Arctic baby all the way! I've decided to go with the chameleon of E90 colors. As you can see from the photos above it ranges all the way from a pretty deep gray to super-duper light and bluish or greenish. I am loving this color after studying it in person, both under the sun and in the shade. What a unique color on such a beautiful car.

Believe it: It IS Arctic. I just came back from a dealership today to show my Father the E90 and it looked just like that; actually even more like Silver-Grey because it was indoors.

Every time I start to question my decision to order Arctic and then see pics like these, I am thankful I went with it. Looks great! BTW, I am sure it is Arctic, but no way to confirm.

Again, it's Arctic. It looks like Silver Grey in cloudy/ dark environment (I compared the two colors with the real cars - my friend has a Silver Grey E46), but is just more beautiful than Silver Grey. Silver Grey comes dated after put together with Arctic! Sure!
