Some Winters shots

just wanted to post some pics after the most recent snowfall. I had a little fun after and did some donuts...or at least attempted to.

I did some drifting with the snow as well
what lens did you use btw
the last two shots look particularly sharp with great dof

Thanks. Shot all of them with a 35 1.8. The bottom two were shot wide open.

the first shot make the car look like its just a toy with that huge mound of snow in the back ground . nice shots btw

I have a 50 1.8 i need to use more
problem is since its on a 1.6x crop body its impractical as you have to get pretty far back for most photos
I should try and pick up a low aperture prime with a shorter focal length

Yea, I have a 50 1.4 and that is my favorite lens. The dof is sick. I hear ya on the crop factor though; you just have to find a place where there's enough room for you to step back. The 35 was a Xmas present and it's a sweet lens. If you shoot Nikon, it's about $200, and is definitely worth the money.

Nice shots, I like the 3rd one. I have the 35 f/1.8, excellent bokeh from that lens. What body are you using?

I shoot a Nikon d300s. Yea, I'm liking this lens more and more, especially for automotive photography. Thanks everyone for the compliments!
