Hello,

I am looking for exhaust tips. After reading up on exhausts and sitting in on a few cars with them i realized i am not going with a full exhaust....so i need some advice on how to change my tips cause these tips are fugly. My car is the white e93 - just to show which tips i have.

Questions:
1. am i looking for a inlet 2.25" to 3" outlet exhaust tip?
2. are there concerns with cutting my tip and replacing it with another one? i understand there is a "butterfly" valve in my exhaust, will cutting my exhaust tips create problems?
3. does anyone know how to measure my exhaust tips so i know what inlet to buy on teh new exhaust tips?

There are hundreds of other tips then those TWO brands.

First you need to decide what type of tip... rolled or straight, single walled or double walled, what type of finish, etc.

I dont know the stock inlet diameter of the tip, just measure the pipe.

3.5" tip will fit the stock E92 bumper pretty much perfectly without hitting the bumper.
