Alternative jack points

Hi everyone. Been following the forum for a little bit now and finally figured out why I couldn't post in the past. So now I can ask questions. You've all been a great source of info so far.

Has anyone heard of or seen pictures of alternative jack points on the E92? There has been some mention that the manufacturer's jack points could bend if used, especially for long periods.

Hmmm... yeah I don't know if the axles are designed to have the load (though logic suggests so). This probably should be in the tire/wheel forum where the grease monkeys hang out.

Another question, when it comes to jack points, would it make a difference between the alu components on a RWD 3'er vs the steel components on an xi?

They would go on the axle if you had a solid axle. These cars don't have that.
