Reliability on used 07 328?

I'm about to make an offer on a 2007 328i coupe 62k (kilometers).

How's the reliability issues on this year for used bmw? I'm scared once i buy it there'll be problems showing up within 6 months and i'll have to pay through my nose for this!

People say bmw has reliability issues - is this true and if yes, for how old of a BMW do this reliability issue usually occurs???

I got a CPO'ed one with 33k miles, which is about 50k km, and I barely had many issues. Only some minor ones like rear tail lights error which is still under warranty and stuff. In general its quite reliable.

the 328's are renowned for reliability. Atleast from what ive experienced and read via this forum. Mine is a 2007 with just barely 31k Miles on it. Granted its a fair weather driver only, ive had zero problems "knock on wood". I've only had it at the dealership for regular maintenance and a tailight bulb out. My warranty end not long ago and ive decided not to reup. So far so good. I would feel safe in purchasing it. if its worth it to you, get it CPO'd or an extended warranty on it, but i doubt you'll be needing it for anything serious.

Depending on how much they want for it, might want to take a gander at a 335! While the dependability isnt really there, it is an awesome car and puts the 328 to shame. I was in a rut after purchasing my 328 and realized how limited i was with modifications. But after reading up on the 355 issues, involving failing turbos etc and least importantly to me the HPFP issues, i feel better and more content with my decision. Granted i still envy every fucking 335 im behind on the road. Lol, to each their own. Anyways, Best of luck my friend

each time my friend's 335 with my 328 go for maintenance, he always has some problem with the car which need to leave the car overnight to finish it, while mine take 2 hour.

I have a 2008 328xi. 0 reliability issues. 34,000 miles, the car is bulletproof.
