N54 back in my garage :)
After being without a 335 for almost 2 years, I had to get back into one at any opportunity. I had an E92 335i on lease till Feb 08, but was heading towards being way over miles at my run rate. I bought an 08 Armada at that point loaded out and ready for the N. NJ winters At least once a wk after buying that car, I would think about how much I missed the power of the 335.
Happy to say that after a long 2 years and, bc my wife's Civic lease ends in April, we just bought an '07 CPO E90 w/35K mi. Came from an '07 TiAg E92 w/premium, ZSP, black leather on alum. trim to a '08 Armada silver, black leather on wood trim. Details of the E90: Crimson Red, Terra Dakota leather, Alum trim Sport, Premium, Cold weather, Navi packages $23.5K Dodge dealer (price as marked, was not willing to negotiate) The wife and I have agreed to alternate driving of the cars on a wkly basis JB4 for sure (used to have the Helix Attache on the E92). What cosmetic mods do you guys recommend? I've been out of it for a while and all the new stuff out there is confusing (IS, m-sport, LCI)..not sure what's compatible w/the older E90s. I hate the wheels, but will hold that off for a while bc of $$. |

-blackline
-e90 m3 spoiler -front splitters in body colour -maybe a performance exhaust? personally i'm starting to find my OEM performance exhaust a little annoying now after 6 mos -- its only fun in the summer at higher revs, with the windows up it drones so much and = headache! |

Don't usually like E9X in red but think yours looks sharp
For exterior mods, buy my OEM splitters http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=splitters |

LOL...stop it. it's not that bad. I'm digging the ride. I always loved 162's. Get rid of that chrome and you have a winner.

Great choice
I love the colour - great car. As for reducing the dead cat space if you have smooth highways where you live lowering is great. But for many places your dentist will thank you for keeping the suspension travel and not increasing the harshness of the ride.

I would not be happy about switching back and forth with the car. I would just give her the car and wait until you can get your own...yes, I am that much of a control freak with my cars.

Thanks guys! I'm not sure about lowering it b/c the wife wouldn't have a clue how to approach curbs or anything that could scape whatever lip/splitters I end up going with.
I have no choice but to alternate betw the SUV and the E90 as a compromise. She was perfectly happy w/her Civic and was probably gonna buy a Suzuki sx4 or something as her next car. I pushed her towards the E90 (and higher payment), so it's only fair. She *does* like the car though, so it's not all that bad for her. I just bought a house so no more big purchases for us. Gonna keep the Armada till it dies. boosted, I found it thru cars.com. The dealer is this small Dodge dealer about 1.5hrs west of NY. It came down betw this car and a Montego/Lemon/Alum E90 in NJ. I love the Montego, but this was CPO and only 10K mi more than the Montego for the same price. |

Crimson Red is awesome! It makes me want to go home and drive my CR! I think you got a decent deal on the price, considering the options.
First things first, check to see if you have the oil cooler. If not you should address this quickly before you start doing some heavy modding. I think you also should freshen up on the tune choices. Good luck and welcome back to the BMW world.

Strange, I was expecting an engine on a palette in someone's garage.

Very nice car, at a reasonable price. Good job. I like keeping it stock looking. Maybe upgrade the angel eyes and fog lights, m3 rear spoiler and put on a good tune and intake.
