New to the forum, and already spending...
Hello all, I've been lurking for several months as I was gathering information on getting a new vehicle. The final 2 contenders were the Audi A5 and the 335; the BMW won. I just purchased a 2008 335i CPO with Premium, Sport, Nav, Cold Weather, Comfort Access, 6MT.
This forum already has me shopping for things the car "needs" and I haven't even taken delivery of it yet. Just wanted to thank you all for that. |

Sounds like a great car - congrats! The A5 is pretty anemic - all of 211HP in a larger car. Yeah, I know it can be modded pretty well, but to me, there's no comparison. And this is from someone who drives a TT and my kid has a new A4. Post pics of the 335!!

I've ordered a set of wheels/tires for winter, new matte black grill, short shifter, and aluminum pedals.
In the spring, I'll probably look for new summer wheels/tires and do some mods for HP and maybe add a rear spoiler. I'll add spacers and maybe lower it a tad. Anything else you would recommend? |

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'm watching this upcoming storm really closely as it is supposed to miss us. I hope so, the winter tire set won't be here until Friday.
Stressdoc, I'm looking forward to them!! Milldon77, let me know if you change to the Procede as that is something I'm considering if I don't go the Dinan route. |
