tunnel gets hot!

hi all...
i drive a 320d MT with electronic climate control.
when the heating is on the transmission tunnel gets really hot right by my right leg. It's very uncomfortable.
Is this a (E90) design flaw, or is it just my car?

I don't know what you mean by the transmission tunnel... But I don't have any problem like that and I drive the same car. Maybe talk to your garage and have them take a look at it.
