New to the forum

Figured I should do an introduction post. I just picked up an 2007 335i sedan. Been into cars pretty much all of my life. Traded in a 2010 mini cooper s to get this car and even though I lost my ass on trade in I couldn't be happier. Not sure what else to say. I have owned a couple other bmw's an e36 touring and a e30 318is. I hope to get a lot of good information from this site and maybe I can help someone else with my limited knowledge.

I traded a 2009 Passat CC VR6 4-Motion for my 2009 335i xDrive.... Lost a $hit load too.

It's amazing what we do because of our love for cars!

It was a lot of fun but I prefer RWD. I had a full 3" alta exhaust, some O.Z. racing wheels on it and NM engineering lowering springs, but it still wasn't enough. Here is a pic

Once the snow melts I'll post a pic of the 335i

Congrats on the new ride. I thought the Mini held its value very well.
My friend got one when they first came out and actually made money on trade-in 3 years later.

Yeah they do hold their value well but I bought it over here in germany at a discounted price and the place I got my 335i from is the used sector of the company so they have to price it compared to their demo models. I think I saved about 3k when i bought the mini so If I look at it that way then it doesn't hurt so much.

Congrats on the 335i. I made a similar trade last week, my 2009 JCW Mini for a 2008 335i sedan. I couldn't be happier as well. I agree the MINI was a lot of fun and quick (especially with the Alta AP tune) but in the end I could never fall in love with putting a lot of power through fwd. I love the 335i and I'm sure you will too. Best of luck with it.

Congrats as well. I just did this same thing on Tuesday. Traded my 2010 Maxima for an 08 335i. I love it.

Nice Mini by the way. My wife has a 2010 Cooper S vert, and she loves it. It's fun to drive, but not my style.

Lets see some pics of the new ride.

I really like it over here in germany but the winters are kinda lame. One of my biggest fears about this car is the HPFP going out and me having to argue with German dealerships to get them to fix it.

Base on first letter of your plate, i will guess you are in Ktown area. I had good experience with the dealer downtown. They do speak good English.

Yeah good ol' K-town. A lot of the car dealers are irish and british. It's like they all had a mass Exodus to Germany.
