Winter tyres ordered - pressures?

Managed to order a staggered set of Falken HS-439 to fit on the OE rims. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the correct pressure? (Used search)

Does it not say on the sticker inside the door, mine gave pressures for the 17" winters I am using.

There is opinion (which includes Tirerack) that it's best to run a bit higher than the summer tyre. About 3 - 5psi higher is suggested.

There's a tech page on Tirerack with some of the reasoning.

Just got my set today. 225/45/17 all round on original staggered msport alloys.
My tyres, dunlops, are not runflat so do the pressures differ from the plate recommendations?

Really? (Appreciate that it's their reasoning, not yours)

Logic would surely say to go higher on snow to make the sidewalls more rigid and softer on ice to maximise the footprint, surely?

Non-ZP tyres generally need a couple PSI more in them than ZPs, Jamm, so add that to the formula anyway..!

The M+S pressures on my rating plate are higher than the same sizes of summer tyres.

Also if you're using a narrower rear then you'll need higher pressure to support the same weight.

Again, find the same width on your rating plate and go with that to start with.
