Next Mod - Please Help

Hey everyone,

First off.. i hope everyone has a great christmas.

I recently purchased/installed my injen intake and LOVE IT. However, after reading several threads.. I now don't know where to go with my next mod.

Mods in order:
Tint
RIMS
Black Out Bmw Emblems
HID upgrade
Injen Intake

What direction do you all think I should go next? I was thinking either Magnaflow or BMW PE exhaust.. or the BMS Powerbox.. I've been reading that if you have exhaust and intake that the Powerbox does nothing.. it actually is just a gas hog.. is this true?

Input would be great.

I was also considering iCarbon rear CF spoiler.

THANKS!!

I would say
1)BMW or Magnaflow Exhaust
2) ECU tune from OEtuning, or active autowerk

Its been proven that after getting an intake+exhaust, that the gains from the powerbox are useless and actually wastes more fuel. All it does is just throttle remaps. ill try to find the link i have it somewhere

The ECU tunes can also be custom made so that you can get most gains out of your mods, ie you will get more gains with intake+exhaust+tune then just intake+tune.

If you are thinking of an exhaust for your next mod would highly recommend the BMW PE. I have one on my 128 and love it. Install is relatively simple as well. There is a DIY on this forum if you are so inclined. Have a great holiday and happy modding!

Which site is the best to purchase the BMW PE exhaust from.. do you think the magnaflow exhaust will be ricey? I don't want my car to sound like ish. Please let me know. I'd rather go with quality so my 128i doesnt sound like a civic.

The magnaflow exhaust just came out, so nobody knows what it sounds like, I emailed them many times, and they said they are still working on dynos and crap. Maybe if you email them, they could give you a discount since you would probably be the first buyer. If not, its cheapest on autoanything.com, I just found a 15% coupon code online and it was about 500 bucks.

The magnaflow is a full catback exhaust and will give you weight savings, and probably more gains(10 hp), then just the BMW PE, but as stated, no sounds or anything, and the BMW PE sounds great

bmw PE from unitedbmwonline.com

^ thats one thing i dont like about the BMW PE its only just the muffler and tips,
i always thought it was a legit full exhaust. siggggh.
really want the magnaflow but worried about warrenty n stuff. then again i keep fighting with myself cuz i think .."oK, its a 128, there are no turbos, no fuel issues no major issues, what can go wrong" lol

warranty wise, there can't be much to mess up with an exhaust, unless you install it incorrectly and it blows to pieces.
