Starter run on?

Today for the first time I started my car and when I pushed and let go of the button the starter continued to turn over. I immediately pressed the button again to shut the car off. Tried it again and it was fine??

When I got back in my car it did it again?

Anyone else ever experience this?

I just press mine and it goes "turn.... turn, turn, turn, start." Its usually like that in all of my cars. it sounds like 4 "turns" So i'd say your fine.
