question about 3rd party warranty

Good evening everyone,
I need your input on this please:
I purchased a 2008 E92 coupe BMW, it is out of its original warranty(over 50K); I am interested in purchasing a 3rd party EXCLUSIONARY warranty. I did purchase the maintenance plan, but would like your opinion on what is the best choice warranty company(or should I trust what 3rd party BMW offers).
My car is manual, twin turbo, with central display, key less entry.
Please let me know what direction would be best for me and my car.
Thank you.
Barbara

If you get one, make sure you know what they cover before you buy it. A lot of the 3rd party warranties have very specific coverage and if you buy one that is too cheap, it won't cover enough to make it worth it and if you buy the one that covers the most, you'll be over spending.

Buying an extended warranty through the BMW dealership will be the easiest and they deal with these warranties all of the time. They will have experience to help you choose. Just remember they get a commission if they sell you one, but it can't hurt to talk to them.

What's been modified?

If it's canceled you get a pro-rated refund

What happened is he voided the warranty by modding the car.

Though it is not offered in all states, I just purchased a warranty for my 2007 328i through Costco. It is exclusionary, through a 3rd party, but backed by Costco. For 72 months and 72,000 miles it cost me $3,100. They also let you pay over 18 months at no interest charge.
