Freebies from BMW?

Usually people got a box of goodies in the mail about 4 weeks after they registered on the MINI Lounge. I got 2 boxes from MINI because both my wife and I have registered on the MINI.

BMW does not have this one?

What kind of goodies did you get? I don't remember getting any boxes.

Actually, the box of goodies wasn't triggered by registering on the MINI lounge - it was triggered by your dealer upon completing delivery of your car. With the MINI, dealers had to choose to participate in the program - that was why some people received the welcome box and some didn't.

My welcome package (when I purchased my '05 Cooper S) came with a journal, pen, secret owner's manual, stickers and some other stuff (can't remember now it was so long ago). Also, I contacted CP&B when they were still MINI's ad agency in the US and they sent me quite a large package of old ads and stuff that was included in the ads - whiptastic handling sticker, tshirt transfers, etc.

So far with my 2011 e91, I've received a usb drive with links to "MY BMW" - 2gb so it has extra space for music.

I got a Thomas Pink $100 gift card for driving the 750 when it came out, and recently an offer for professional driving instruction back in Oct., but couldn't make it because of late notice and my wife taking a licensing exam the following week.

As mentioned, I will go to the Jaguar dealership on Thu. to get the code for the free Odyssey White Ice putter. Free is good, not so much the monetary value but let's face it, free. There are many on this forum who turn their noses up at free items, but let's face it, there are just as many of us who don't draw upon trust funds!

Couple of years back I got customer appreciation stainless steel manual BMW shifter in glass case. I thought that was very nice of them. Plus I get complementary BMW magazine for last 3 years.
