hey guys,
335is owner, still in "break in" just hit 1000 miles today but i dont care about rpm or speed right now. i just took my car through the turns on sepulveda pass right alongside 405, and let me just say. that was an amazing experience. it's been pouring in LA and i kind of hesitated to take my car out for a drive, but it was late and i couldn't sleep. so i loaded my car with music and went out for a drive, after the car warmed up i was like hmm i always wanted to drive down sepulveda with no traffic, why not do it now, rain can't hurt that much... AND OH MY GOD IT FELT SO GOOD TO THROW THE CAR INTO TURN AFTER TURN AT 50-60 MPH EATING EACH TURN THE ROAD COULD THROW AT THE CAR. THE ROAD WAS TRULY AT MY MERCY BECAUSE I HELD THE REIGNS TO MY AWESOME GODSEND OF AN AUTOMOBILE. music jamming loud on the way up. then on the way down, i played light jazz while attacking turns and it was quiet excellent as well. when i got to the tunnel, i rolled down my windows and floored it and let the engine fill the cavernous heights of the tunnel with it's sexy growl/roar. but seriously, 335is drivers, go hit that shi*t if ur in LA. i've only seen two other is's...a white one and a silver one near the westwood/santa monica/wilshire area... ok /orgasm good night lovely folks |

Two words: Carbon Canyon
or... Mount Baldy. Those are my two shrines. Too bad it's raining... And right after I got my Eibach's done too =_=

Funny, when I drive it like a race car 100% of the time the radio is off so I can concentrate and hear the lovely sound of the engine.

It's about 15 degrees with icy roads here in Chicago. i wont be taking any tight turns. (I know my 335 could handle it but why risk it. Im just saying...).

If you're ever up north, I highly recommend the 299 from Redding to Eureka (or vice versa). Bar none my favorite road in California to drive my car on. You can find twistier canyon roads, but the 299 is just the perfect combo of long curvy S's, sharp bits, passing lanes, uphill/downhill etc, all following the spectacular Trinity river.

When I am at my home in Missouri I am really happy with my modded 335, lots of great twisties here. But when I'm at my place in NCal, I find myself wishing for a Cayman R with PASM and those carbon brakes...
