Mysterious Sound When Turning
Hey guys...
I have something going on in my 335i sedan that's just driving me crazy. Whenever I turn strongly from side to side, I hear something that sounds like a coin sliding and then hitting the side. It seems to be coming from somewhere near the center console or the gear shifter. I have removed *everything* from my center console, so it's nothing in there. It's like something has fallen into a crevice somewhere, or something is loose. It's really annoying though...if it's on the right, and I make a right turn at a decent speed....there it goes....slide, slide, slide, bang. It lands against the left side of wherever it is. It really sounds like a coin or a screw or something, but I just don't know where it could be. Any ideas?

Oh, oh, this sounds like what another member had a while back - a coin that had fallen into the rear vent duct that is under the front seats. Do a search. I think his service dept was able to remove it by sticking a strong magnet attached to a stick into the duct.
