Help Me "Toughen Up" My 193 Wheels (Fitment, Spacers, Etc)

2010 E90 M-Sport Space Gray. Bridgestone RFT's in the rear are done (after 9k miles). Going to get some new Non RFT Conti DW's. I cannot afford to upgrade wheels as anything better than OEM is big bucks. Would like to do what I can to improve the appearance of the stock wheels (193M) without rolling fenders, etc.

Stock fitment is 225/40 and 255/35. Will going to a 234/40 look better up front? Any downsides?

Also, I am torn on spacers after hearing so many issues. Are spacers really good to go? Do they compromise the performance and or anything else? What are considered to be the best brand of spacers? What sizes can I get away with with zero rubbing even under load?

Might go with a gun metal or anthracite powdercoat as well.

Help and experiences are appreciated!

Get some spacers in the rear, the blue one in this thread has 15mm, don't know if that would rub with full load.

what about front spacers? Should I go with the wider tire size in front?

I have an e92 and on my stock 189s, I ran 12/15mm and could've gone 18 in the rears. It was flush in the front but a tiny bit sunken in, in the rear for the 15mm. I'm on H&R Sport Springs. No rubbing, no nada

Doubt you'll have any problems running spacers. 12/18mm!
