Public Display of...Cooties?

Hi, I never used PDC(Parking Distant Control) before so I'm curious:

1. Can PDC pick up small objects like a pet or a block that might be below the sensor height, but tall enough to hit the bumper?
2. Is the response fast enough when an object appears in the sensor zone?
(for example, kid walks by not seeing me reverse)?
3. Does anyone have more pics of the holes? (let's say...on a space gray?!)

I know these don't necessarily have anything to do with "parking" but still it has to do with safety......safety of my perfect bumper, that is.

The first question is a good one. I don't know how low an object it will sense. I plan to test that myself. I'm sure there is a limit... maybe 1 ft. high. As far as the response, I think if you are reversing slowly enough the response would be pretty good.

1. When I park backwards it easily picks up the low cement blocks you typically find in parking lots, so I imagine a small pet / child would be picked up.

2. I think it's fast enough. At work when I put it in reverse and I'm ready to leave, sometimes I'll wait to let someone walk by, or cars are passing before I can get out, and in both instances it beeps rapidly since they're passing by very close. Once I just got in my car and no one was around, put it in reverse and before I had a chance to look back and check my surroundings it was already beeping rapidly - a car had just passed behind me in the span of time it took me to get in and adjust the AC, put my work badge away etc.

3. Here's a pic of my ride in Arctic - a close cousin of Space Grey

I have PDC in my car.
The only time that it did not detect something was for a steel cable across a driveway. But I knew the cable was there and was running a test.
