Another potenial meet location discovered

Another spot Simple1 and I discovered this weekend.. for ultimate runs and nice meet...

Location: beyond jones beach, Captree Park

NOTE: GUARANTEED TOP SPEED WILL BE MET HERE! I came late but... got some pics to share and a few vids...:rocks:

this seemed to have been a last minute euro meet lol. Anyway, lookin at the pics, you guys can see the space. They have a nice lil place you can get some quick food, nothing too fancy. Its almost in the middle of no where. It looks sooo secluded.

So i got there, late. Got to get something to eat with the guys. Talked about what I missed. 1 M5 with an aftermarket exhaust (check the pics) vs two e55s? Simple1 said that he was doing 145-155 limiter and COULD NOT CATCH UP

. I believe he said they looked like 10 cars or more infront of him lol.

Anyway, when we were leaving, i took those quick shots and hopped in cuz everyone was leaving. Now, when we left, we pretty much left all M cars there. I wondered why they didn't come along with.. but.. later on we soon learned why they didn't need to

lol...

Careful on Ocean Pkwy...it is known to be a speedway and the cops know it too!

Yeah, this is very true. I know that the county cops actually read some of the forums and then scope out the parkway. Example: I was on my way to a G35 meet a few months ago at Captree and I got there very late. but when I did show up there was a line of Gs (about seven of them) pulled over on the parkway. One of the guys called me and told me that the cop that had pulled him over had told him that he picked up on the meet on a G forum.

Be careful over there.

It was the craziest thing ever guys, you have to come here for a meet. I was doing 155 limiter and the M5 (Full Eisenman racing exhaust, veryyy loud, sick!!!) & e55 were about 190mph. The e55 had a stage 5 rentech in it, just so sick. I ran with the white M5 and the 2 e55 to captree because everyone got split up but the most amazing run I've ever had. It was also nice to see what the 335 can do against such monsters (NOT MUCH!!

) I'll post the next time we are going, so more e90s can represent.

wow, you hit your limiter (155mph) and couldn't keep up? I'd hate to bring my 325 none sport (135mph) and make a fool out of myself. Plus I just wouldn't 'feel' right going that fast. Sounds like fun though.

i stayed in the back so i could catch shots.. but before i caught up to them.. lord knows how fast they were going lol. ...and those m cars must have past the US limiter lol.. for them to catch up to us... everyone was doing a good 85 -90.. I also appreciated that their wasn't stupidness. Everyone drove responsible lol. For real. I've seen those tuner guys do wicked things in the past omg... on local streets too.

From what I've seen on other forums, Captree is very popular for many exotic car meets in LI. I have seen this place mentioned in Porsche and Ferrari circles.

Ummmh are you sure about them driving responsibly

when we were going they were nutz I was a lil afraid.

anyway 190mph is no joke, these cars are blazing fast and i can't wait to graduate to one of them in the future :rocks:
