E90 Envy

Parked inside a shopping mall around here was an Alpine White E90 as an advertisement for the local BMW dealership. Finger and nose prints could be seen all over the windows from constantly gathering crowds. When couples walked by, most of the guys would yank their oblivious girlfriends/wives toward the car for a better look. Pretty hillarious spectacle, but I smugly thought to myself, "Yeah, I have one of those... but stay away from my ride."

man i wish i had E90s in my malls. over here we get some stupid fords usually and once a mustang that had guys staring. If there was ever an E90 in my mall, I'd probably make my girlfriend rip my head off haha.

I bring BMWs to the costcos all the time for the dealer I work for. Usually an x3.

an e90 is not that rare car to see...but who knows, maybe it is for VA

I see e90's all over the place. But 97% are 325 or 325xi. Very rarely do I see a 330i sport.

The Short Hills Mall (Short Hills, NJ) has a Porsche Cayman, a Porsche Cayenne, a Range Rover Sport, and a Bentley always displayed. I LOVE the Cayenne.

The e9x's are still relatively rare here, and I would never see one in a mall around here, that's for sure.

For sure, I've seen maybe 3 E90's with sport. Mine will be number 4

Yeah, BMWs are obviously not all that common in the Motor-City, and the E9x are even more rare.

Sidenote:
I picked up my gf from the airport a week ago and was sitting in my car outside the baggage claim area. These two guys came walking down the sidewalk, slowed down, and I could see they were talking and checking out my car. They got a few feet past the rear bumper and turned around (I assume to check for the badging.. which I removed), and stood there looking at my car. When my gf came out of the terminal and I got out to load her stuff in the trunk, they walked away.

Still a great feeling knowing that other people are checking out your car.

When I went to buffalo last summer (don't ask) the Walen Galleria Mall had a BMW 325i as well as a GL Class and E Class Mercedes on display.

Oh, one of the malls around me did have a E90 325xi inside for a bit -- not sure if it's still on display.

Another mall has a SLK and some SUV (I think a Jeep Commander), inside.
