Front license plate help

Kicking myself in the ass since I failed to mention to the dealer to NOT drill the front license plate mounting kit into front of my F10. So now I am left with 2 small drill holes in my front bumper. Any ideas or mods to make it look better? I was thinking something along the lines of bumper caps or plugs I saw that was available for other makes of cars. Thanks.

i had the same problem so i bought touch up paint from the dealer and paint the plug. then just drill the hole big enough to fit the plugs in there. It looks pretty good.

Goe to ACE Hardware and see if they have any of those small plastic cap plugs used for furniture. Might have to paint them but could be what you are looking for.

What plug did you use and any pictures of the bumper after installed?

I went to a performance auto shop and they custom made it for me. The picture is not the best but I think you can see it.

LOL thats so funny! I can laugh because mine has been drilled too! However, I got mine with 2k miles demo for 25k UNDER invoice. There are a few options you have. Install a clear bra then after installed use a syringe and inject it full of a colored epoxy. When it dries it is invisible. Second install a clear bra and use touch up pen and paint over the two holes the bra covers after the install. First works best.

If your that anal about the holes then if you don't get the bra installed you'll be repainting it from rock chips sooner than later anyways.

The plugs are terrible looking. I think the european front license plates are cool too maybe that would work too?

First off...wow 25k under invoice is a great deal. I may try the first suggestion.

I could not believe it. We were ordering a X6 then my wife drove the GT and fell in love. To be honest I was against it at first but the deal was too good to pass up. Then once I got to drive it for a bit I was glad we chose the GT. The seating position is SO much better than laying in a sedan or jacked up like the X6. Edgy design yes but tinted windows on black is just a sweet combo. We have kids so the GT is perfect! Now if I was 18, single and had daddys bank account the sedan might work.

GTurismo, I finally convinced my folks to pick up a 5GT. We got a sweet deal on it. What makes it sweeter is that I get to keep it for the next few months until they come up to get it. I agree with you. I'm quickly falling in love with the car. If I had a family, it would definitely be the family car for me. Any ideas on mods for our family's alpine white 5GT, other than a Procede/JB4 tune? :-p
