E90 computer - unlocking/locking sound option
Hi guys. Page 21 of the owner's manual for my E90 (2007) has options to enable a sound/chime during unlocking/locking. My car computer though is missing these. Has anybody seen these from their own car computer?
See page snapshot below. The highlighted section (in yellow) are missing from my car computer.

Im pretty sure you have to have an alarm for the unlock/lock function to be audible, otherwise its just the lights flashing when you lock/unlock.

And it's a dealer installed accessory...not a DIY since it needs to be reprogrammed to work...
Not only will the alarm do this but it will blink the clown nose it's gonna cost about $500 installed...

You have to have the alarm system installed. The manual is a teeny bit misleading on this point. With the alarm, you get a chirp sound that you can turn on or off with this setting.
