Un-identified part no.
I been offered M-sport E90 steering wheel wthe BMW part number:
32 30 7 839 0750. It looks exactly as a normal M-sport wheel but the part number is different than I expected. Can anyone identify this part number i.e. which car exactly does it fit. I have a feeling it is for the E93 coupe. Looking on this forum I have seen the part number for an M Sport wheel as 32 30 7 906 846. Does the part number I have mentioned make sense to anyone? Will it fit an E90 saloon? Also will sports airbag: 32306770515 fit to this steering wheel?

Quote:
The steering wheel for your car E90 320i should be 32 30 7 906 846 which is replaced by part with number: 32 307 839 114 (steering wheel will fit to 1er E87, E90, E91, E92 and perhaps later on E93) The airbag you mention with partno.: 32 30 6 770 515 will fitt both steering wheels. I haven't found the first one you did mention, because it is an 12 -digit number. BMW part numbers do always have 7 or 11 digits. Are you sure it's this number (32 30 7 839 0750)??? |

Hi,
thanks for your in-depth response. I will double check the number and get back to you. Here is what the guy told me and pic. brand new genuine bmw e90 m sport leather multi function steering wheel. made from the finest leather all tri stitched, and very very rare indeed, never fitted and unmarked steering wheel only no air bag and i understand that this may fit other models [e46, x5 ect], but check that for your self bmw part number is 78390750-01

The original M-sport steeringwheel which will fit the E87 and E9x (32 30 7 906 846 and 32 307 839 114), won't fit on other BMW's.
The (M-)sport steering from the E46 looks very different than on the picture, same for the X5. I think it's a replica or so, no part found on that number... |

Hi,
if you are buying this steering wheel from eBay then make sure it is not water damaged. A lot of people from Devon/Dorset are selling bounty from the MSC Napoli which lost some cargo in the storms a few weeks ago. Just make sure that it is not salty Cheers, Chris Last edited by JamboChris; 02-04-2007 at 11:45 AM.. Reason: spelling |

M-Sport Steering wheel on Ebay
I was about to buy one of those M Sport Steering wheels from the same seller in Devon UK. I am very suspicious and I believe it is stolen goods from the MSC Napoli. I have read the reports online and it indicated that hundreds of BMW Bikes, Steering wheels and airbags were lost.
The asking price is also less than half of the retail OEM price; and the part number quoted does not match the BMW OEM Part Number. I have decided to buy from the BMW dealers instead just to play it safe... |

M-Sport Steering wheel on Ebay
Chris, I think you're right. I've asked the guy to send me a photo of the airbag he's selling, and as you can see below, the case and connector are corroded, or should I say salted! Also, I think this is the same as in this link
