OEM alu handbrake on wood - anyone done this?
I have the stock poplar trim with alu auto gearstick & iDrive knob, but I'm not fond of the the black leather //M handbrake, because the leather edges are too harsh on my delicate pink skin I don't like the poplar handbrake, either, so was wondering if I should go with the alu version to match the iDrive & the auto gearstick...

Damn, the handbrake looks great. It matches the gear selector much better than my //M version does. Many thanks for taking the trouble to post the photos. I ordered the handle from my dealer this morning
Quote:
BTW, how easy is it to replace the brake handle?

Its a simple install. You have to lift up the boot surround, clip the old ziptie off, and install the grip w a new one, which isnt included. 5 min install and well worth imo. Thanks again for all the comps guys!
yes they were on full blast and still not doing nething. its 9 degrees outr this a.m. brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!
