Trip Odometer

This may be a stupid question, however I've tried searching and I can't find an answer.
Do our E90's have a secondary trip odometer or only one. Can anyone tell me how to switch from trip A to trip B?

I think there's just one on the odometer itself. I am not sure if the "trip computer" on iDrive allows for a second (or multiple) trip odometers.

Wow this is probably the only vehicle that doesn't have dual trip odometers. Even the lowest model hyundais have this option.
It's hard to believe.
Does anyone know why this feature isn't available on the E90's

Just one. Not sure if iDrive equipped modes have a second within the iDrive trip computer or not.

It's useless? I can't think of a single situation where I'd need 2 odometers.

The reason I needed is to calculate trip kms without reseting the first odometer which I use to know how many km I've put on between fill ups. Besides every other car has it so I don't see why E90's don't. It's not a big deal however it's the principle of it.

I use trip B to see how far I've gone since I've changed the oil.

i havent used the one more than 3 times since i bought it so it wouldnt really bother me much to not have one at all (i can add and subtract and am able to use those sticks that make marks on that white stuff)

If u have Idrive, there is one on the dash and one inside Idrive that u could use. So u could say we have 2.

^^ Yup, I just noticed today (after I posted the first reply above) that if you reset the iDrive trip computer, you still have the "regular" trip odometer, too.

I use the odometer trip meter for fuel usage. The iDrive trip meter I use for, get this, trips.

As for the distance travelled between maintenance events, I use a log book showing date, odometer reading, event (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, lights, etc.), the price per item (gallons, quartes, etc.) and the total cost which would include the labor. I also put the receipt in my owners manual cover. I've done this for every one of my cars and, in fact, before i owned a car I recorded these whenever I borrowed my father's cars. About the only thing that doesn't go into the logbook is washer fluid, air, and washings and I probably should be recording these as well (OK, maybe not the washings).
