new 328i owner!
no longer a potential 328i owner..
just finished up the paper work on a beautiful Monaco blue with Terra interior 328i e90. having satellite radio installed and am picking it up on saturday. im way excited! i was juggling between the Audi A4 and the 328i, but once i drove the 328i i knew my decision. I can't wait. My client advisor was asking me about tint, and i declined and decided i would figure out if i wanted it later.. anyone with tint have any opinions/prices/places to get it done. I'm also holding back on the iPod MOST adaptor becasue i hear the interface is crappy, and have been using a FM transmitter and navigate fine through the click wheel, and think it will be jsut find using the AUX in.. |

I'd get 35% tint all around on Monaco. For the iPod adapter the interface is decent if you have iDrive, but without it it can be annoying. I don't have either, but MP3 CDs work very well on the standard radio.

Enjoy!
Congrats on your decision - you won't regret. Just finished my first 30 days with my 328 e90 and I still get a big grin on my face everytime I drive her..unlike any other car I've ever had - much more perky than the 2006 325 e90 she replaced (dealer mishap - enough said). I had a $200 tint job in the 325 but went with Huper Optik Ceramic 30 this time - I feel much less heat through the rear window with it. As far as the iPod MOST interface, I love it. Granted, it is not as nice as the iPod itself, but the sound quality is heads and shoulders above the AUX input - but depending on how much music you want to have access to at a time, burning MP3s is better than AUX if sound quality matters to you. Have fun, enjoy.

Really, maybe I should have gotten a 328 then, I just figured the 15 HP would be hardly noticed and not worth the extra 1500 bucks. I also got a great deal on an outgoing 325 as well.
