Question Recommendation on Goodyear?

After what I've been through I decided not to have the RFT anymore...
and Goodyear does have free road hazard for one year, which my bmw dealership tells me they don't and charged me 400 for a piece of crap that bubbled again in 2 hours.
So I'm going back to Goodyear and claim for a new set of tires, does anyone have any recommendations?
I have the 19" comes with the M sport

Are you gonna go for all seasons or do you want dedicated summer and winter tires?
Also do you want more GT or more sport?

All season is what I want, sorry I don't quite get what more "GT" means
Indiana snows in the winter but since I have xdrive I'll go with all season instead of changing tires

GT means Grand Touring. Most of driving in this country is this. 80mph on long open stretches of highway. GT tires tend to emphasize comfort more than sport. Sport tires emphasize grip and cornering, at the sacrifice of comfort and tread life.

Thanks!
Any recommendations on both GT and Sport all season?

For a softer tire. Michelin has a new GT tire that is a Low Rolling resistance tire, but like all Michelin's they are expensive...
Not to many reviews of this tire simply because it's pretty new.
Michelin Primacy MXM4

For the tires that are (Ultra High Performance All-Season).
The two that get very high marks are:
This one is consistently rated the best for snow traction. Continental ExtremeContact DWS
This is a proven tire that has been out for a while, but again, pricey. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
These are kind of a budget solution that get decent reviews. I've never had good results with Pirelli, but everyone has different experiences.
Pirelli PZero Nero All Season
If you're a Yokohama/Japanese tire kinda guy, these are pretty new as well.
Yokohama AVID ENVigor (W)

Lightbulb Get rid of those Goodyear!!!

Goodyear tires are not befitting for a BMW. I purchased a 2011 BMW 550i sport premium and it came with a set of Goodyear Excellence RFT. After the first 250 miles driven, I got a bubble on 3 of my tires . I went to the BMW dealership and insisted that they replace all 4 tires on my car. I asked them to install Michelin Pilot Sport Zero Pressure but they told me that BMW does not recommend any Michelin runflats for the 5 series!! I find this hilarious given the Michelin Pilot Sport is a lot better tire than any Goodyear!!! So they installed a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE050A free of charge. I have to tell you that I have driven 4,600 miles on my car with no issues. The ride is a bit stiffer but afterall, this is a BMW. By the way, the Goodyear Excellence is a new tire so no one has it in stock, not even the BMW Dealership.

I was prepared to hate these tires as I despise every experience I have had with RFT. These tires really surprised me. So far they have exhibited none of the harsh ride and road noise of RFT's of the past. They're not quite as grippy as pure performance tires, and they lean towards being more GT then track, which for Los Angeles roads is a good thing. I will follow up with treadwear life, but so far even with the upgraded Sport and Dynamic Handling Package on the 535i, I am really liking these tires. $1500 bucks for 4 seems a bit much though. I'm leaning towards getting regular tires and the mobility kit for that price.

I second the Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S. I currently have them on my '06 Lexus GS and are by far the best tires I've ever had. The tread pattern is sweet too.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S have not been mentioned on this thread. More importantly, they don't make them in 245/40ZR19.

Apologies to MBlack78. I didn't see the GY A/S mentioned before. I have never had good experiences with Good Year tires in the past. I actually like the Excellence RFT's that come with on the Sport model. But the combination of expense and nail puncture susceptibility, will have me looking else where.

... until I hit a pothole and put a bubble in my tire, then I couldn't get one for a couple of days, then I had to pay for a second one...

THAT is the root of the problem. NOT ride quality (which has been sorted) or handling (which one would assume is good on a 245/40R19 tire).

I would not recommend the Michelin MXM4 but rather the superior newer Primacy MXV4 all season tires. They are perfect for the size 18 rims. See it on tirerack.com. They have 60k miles warranty and I have them on my Lexus right now and already put 35k miles on them with more than 50% thread left. Very quiet, smooth, vibration free, and excellent road feel with great all season traction.

That's great for your Lexus, but the Primacy MXV4 does not come in the 245/40ZR19 size that the OP needs.
