When is the JB3 G4 going to be released?

Hey, does any1 know when this is coming out? I am about to order a Procede especially if there is no release date for the new board. I would perfer to use autotune with the meth, I would rather not take any chances running high boost while tweaking the settings myself... plus the data logging with the Procede is much mor newb friendly.

The below was posted in on Sept 16th, but i havent heard anything since.

G4 wont have any timing control. Procede is still the better choice if you plan to run high boost.

BMS is working hard on getting it in your guys hands. From what I understand the release date is somewhere between halloween and thanksgiving. Nothing is set in stone so take that only as a guide.

Don't quote me, but I believe that the G4 pro will offer some form of CPS offsetting for passive timing control. I don't know the specifics though so this is only AFAIK.

Yes, this will result in a much better JB3. Competition is the mother of invention.

If you want timing control, you have to wait for the Pro board, and at this rate, that definitely won't be around 'till 2011.

What the price gonna be around.Will i be able to trade in my jb3 2.0 version and get the g4 Instead of buying the whole thing??

If not mistaken, Mike or someone said that current users could trade their jb3s for the new version

I always was under the impression that JB3 updates were all free. Wouldn't that include the new board???

Who doesn't? But like Jon335 said, $40-$80 is not much. It's like buying a whole new tune for under $100 which is a win in my book.

you have to be the original owner of the JB3 in order to upgrade.

if you bought your JB3 used..i believe you cannot upgrade.

They are shooting for around $85 for the upgrade. Which turns any JB3 sold in the past ~3 years in to a G4!
