Engine Malfunction after Charge Pipe / DV Install?

So I just finished installing my Forge Diverter Valves and my new Charge Pipe. Took the car for a quick shopping trip to Walmart and everything felt great...

Then as I was giving it some from a stop suddenly the car made some strange V8 noises from the engine and an "Engine Malfunction" warning popped up. The car never went into limp mode and drove fine afterwards... although it sounded a little funny when going above 2000 rpm.

I'm gonna scan the thing tomorrow after I wake up, too tired now. I double checked and nothing has come loose in the engine bay after my install. I was just wondering if anyone knew what might be the cause of the problem.

Note: The Procede was not installed during this. The car was pushing stock boost.

you have a leak, recheck everything. The code you have is probably the underboost one.

Did it go away after restart? I had something like that happen once, It was like the car Hick-uped and was ok after restart. Freaked me out how the car sounded.

check to make sure the tmap sensor is plugged in and that you didnt break the green o'ring that seals it, alot of the powder coated charge pipes have too much powder coating on the bore that the sensor sits into, and if you dont remove the coating then the sensor would have to be forced into the bore and break the o'ring in most cases.

+1. Most likely a leak somewhere. Recheck clamps and hoses.
