Procede + 12223 code question
I have a failing HPFP. This week it has gotten really bad and it finally threw a check engine light..
I pulled the codes with my Procede and the only one that is there is 12223 indicating a bad HPFP. Is it safe to remove the Procede and take it to the dealer without clearing the codes? Or are there hidden "tuner" codes that i need to clear? Please advise.

If that is the only code that you are reading with the Procede, it's all good. Just remove the Procede and take it to the dealership. No hidden tuner code can hide from the Procede's code reading feature

dont want to start new topic so writing here got this code 12223 Fuel Pressure at Injection Release (to start a car took 5 seconds after pressing start/stop button long crank) but after car heated i turned it off and on and starts normal. Should i worry or go to a dealer? car has only 22000 km on
p.s almost forgot this :could be a issue cos i let trunk OPEN 6 hours an there was a lamp in it so could be a batteries also, will se if its just a coincidence.

Yes dealer it. Code + long crank = HPFP on its way out.
