my new Engine sound not even at idle
I got a new 328xi almost a month. At the first few days I didn't care about not-even engine sound, because I was so impressed by its driving fun.
When I pick up the car, the engine sound was not even at idle when I started car. Irregularly, there was very little tremble, like this ____/\_____/\___/\________________/\__ The dealer said it's okay and it will disappear. But still I hear and feel the irregular engine sound. It's very little but noticeable. Maybe I am too sensitive?! Will it disappear if I drive more?, or is it normal BMW engine sound? Last edited by aladdinAndMagicBmw; 10-27-2010 at 09:19 AM.. |

Are you talking about at idle? Does the change in tone correspond with a change in RPM? If so, is the range large (ie >150-200rpm)?

Probably like a stumbling at idle. That would make me nervous too, but it's probably nothing and you're under warranty.
