Im ok. Hella sore and will be feeling it tomorrow but Im good. Taillights were my next thing. I guess this gives me a reason. lol The exhaust is stock. Just had them modify it to fit the bumper. The lady admitted guilt. I was following my friend and he got cut off my a PT cruiser that slammed on his brakes. So we all did but the lady either wasn't paying attention or something.

Since the quarter panel is all tweaked, I am questioning wether or not they will fix it or total it out. I really don't know. I have heard that its not really possible to fix that unless its cut and welded, which would really suck.

Has anyone been in a situation with being hit with aftermarket parts? I think they might repair it to stock then I'll have to put on an aftermarket bumper and exhaust myself.

The insurance company sends a check to your body shop and you can buy whatever you want with it. Pretty sure your parts are covered... and plus, your mtech rear is oem, not aftermarket.

No dude.. here in Utah, you can choose who fixes your car.. the Insurance company just does an estimate and writes you a check.. then you can spend the money however you'd like.. I'm sure if you're buying aftermarket, it won't cost as much as oem so you'll put a little cash in your pocket.. I'd say it's fair for that lady depreciating the re-sale value of your car by slammin' into it.

Good luck. I hope all works out! And that quarter panel can be fixed, and you wouldn't believe how easy it is to replace, time consuming, but not hard.
