Well thats it no driving for at least two weeks

Going in for a Right Knee Op tommorow, though the way my left gave way today I recon it might be both kneeds at same time.

Add the additional tendon realignment they are doing on left foot and I recon its wheel chair for me on the way home.

At least I get a room intead of a ward

oh the joy

See you on the other side

Can you walk on your hands .

Fill your car up with juice before you go in. Always nice to step into your car after a couple of weeks away to find a full tank; feels like winning the lottery (might just be me ).

Good luck.

survived in the end. Right knee in huge bandage but suprisingly can put full weight and feels more stable before went in. Will see when the badages come off.

Worse news is I have seriosu cartlidge damage and signs of arthoritis possibly caused by my psioriasis. Which means mostly likely is the case in the other knee, So will be going in for that soon as well

Doh, dont look like any more ruby or american football for me in future. At least surgery worked

Glad it went OK buddy I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Sorry to hear the other knee might need doing but if so you might as well get it done asap and have just the one recovery period?

Either way I wish you a speedy recovery dude.

Dave.

it goes back years. Orginally back in 97/98 had two keyholes to clean up ligaments / cartlidge after some kick boxing fights gone wrong.

After that add 8 seasons of American Football, more martial arts etc knees took a bit of wear and tear but nothing major more cumilitive.

It turns out now I have damage to the back of the knee cap awaiting results to see if its normal or psoriasis caused arthritis as visual signs are there. Either way not good. So add that plus the long term damage and you have most of the cartildge in the knee full of large cracks and debree.

Good thing the ligaments are ok. so time to get on the codliver oil and glucosaminte tables to help the healing.

Its getting better this evening already have about 90 degree bend in it and can walk just sore and swollen , got to rest it and heal so then other one can be started on. This time not leaving it 10 months due to work going in asap so can be healthy for summer.

More importantly so I can drive. Two days of passenger and hate it already.
