GIAC Stage 2 VS. Vishnu tune real life comparison?

Are there any out there? I want to see some real life comparison of those two tuners if there are any out there.

Dyno charts are cool, but it comes down to day-to-day performance

He shouldn't have to do anything. You're the one who needs the information. If you followed his advice, you would already have the information you are looking for.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/search...rchid=14111440
Here is his latest dyno thread...
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=437210

Shiv from vishnu has a bunch of threads with information....
Again... http://www.e90post.com/forums/search...rchid=14111447
He also has a website... www.vishnutuning.com

There is also a sticky posted right at the top of the very forum you made a thread.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=374508

In that same area is....A dyno comparison thread of various tunes...

Do you really think you were the first person to ask about Procede or Giac?

Actually all about 3 minutes at best.

Went to Mr.5 Went to his threads.

Naturally the sticky's threads are on top of this section.

And Shiv's website is pretty obvious.

I don't think anyone has had both the Procede V4 and GIAC Stage 2. They're too new...

You're just gonna have to compare dyno graphs. Or find some local members with the same bolt ons to compare the tunes

Got yuh, those two tunes are very good. Would love to see some videos of the two dukeing it out...

I had the first GEN of Vishnu v1.47 and curious as to how things has progressed. I know it's in-line w/GIAC but have not seen any real life runs of both tunes.

A fully modded Stage 2 GIAC vs a fully modded V4/Jb3 both without meth and on the same octane will pretty much run the same. GIAC will net more power at redline and a piggy will have more peak power.

If anyone is looking to choose a tune by what makes "the most power", they are going to be barking up the wrong tree. All the high boost tunes are capable of making roughly the same power on a dyno or during a single gear pull.

The real difference between them is:
-how safely they make the power
-how they drive on the road and up through the gears and at various throttle angles (driveability)
-how adaptable they are when conditions/modifications/octane change
-how well it accounts for car to car variance (wastegate stiffness, for instance)
-if it can adapt to upgraded turbos
-if it can work safely with methanol injection
-if it has additional useful convenience features (mapswitching, diagnostics, 6AT launch control, no bog 6MT shifting, dash displays, speed limiters/delimiters, etc,.)
-And so on and so on....

That, as they say, is where the rubber meets the road.

Shiv

If you are looking for a speed comparison between the two in real life I believe that it is sort of pointless. Get both and see which one you like better, it is that simple, lol. I am still waiting for darren and myself to do a little pull though, comparing the two.

I don't know if you have considered this.... but with the Procede you can remove it at home or the side of the road if needed before service. With GIAC you need to get flashed back to stock to be sure

That's why you purchase the handheld switcher.
