Purging a new meth kit?

Just ordered my DO meth kit ( basic ) no controller just a hobbs witch. Just wondering if anyone has experience with the DO kit and purging it for 1st time use.

You can just rig up a bottle for the water to go into, or use an air tank/pump to simulate boost to your boost line.

BUT, with the recent chaos of blown engines (Even if they're not directly meth-related), are you really willing to risk running a meth kit without a failsafe?!

sure becuase iam not going to be running 19+ psi.

the engine failures are just playing the blame game right now, its the tune,its the meth, its the failsafe blah blah blah.


Dont run 19-22 psi on your stock turbos and youll be just fine. So if meth fails under 16psi i personally feel that it wont do any harm because i run 15psi for 2 years without it.

But you do understand that if a meth failure DOES occur, you'll be running at 16psi at fully advanced timing?
