Smile Procede Firmware 130: Preview

Currently Testing the new firmware that we hope to release within the next few days. Here's a datalog from today sdstatestud88's 6AT 335i:

You'll notice that the datalog channel list has been updated. No more debug byte/words but proper titles instead.

You'll also notice that the Naturally Aspirated mode is functional. And pretty slow. Still some ignition advance mapping to do before it is released. There's a lot more power to be made still. And improvements to fuel economy as well. I'll be tuning it on my car when I get back to the office tomorrow.

Other udpates include revised Nitrous control and new in-dash gauge options (intake air temp and ignition advance displays). A few other things too

Cheers,
shiv

Perhaps. If I can wrap all testing up this weekend, all new Procede's should ship with this fimrware pre-loaded. If not, you'll just need to update it yourself when you have a few minutes to spare.

ha. Until I read the bit about NA mode, I thought you had a scaling error in the boost display of that graph.

It's pretty close to the sound of an e46 m3. Not exactly the same since the exhaust pulses get a little squashed together as it goes through the turbine housing. But close

Just out of curiousity, did you play around with running in NA mode and still running Nitrous, just to see how it would react?

X...

Cool!
Will the Naturally Aspirated mode come with valet speed limiter enabled?

Would it be possible to combine the N/A map with the transport mode (the one that revs until 4K ) ?

That would be the perfect valet!!

I'll probably try this out once or twice only. But who knows, maybe I will turn into a fuel miser; not likely.
