Creader ?
I have one of the older Creaders without any screen or buttons. When I plug it in it launches and than the dashes appear then I get an E on the left side of the screen. Any idea why that would happen? I know I have codes and the service engine soon light is on. Just trying to see whats going on before i go into service after I have removed all my mods.

If you had googled about the issue with the CReader, you would have found that the "E" means it cannot communicate with the ECU. Make sure the ignition is on when you connect the CReader, if it still shows the "E" then you have a defective reader.
On the other hand, I don't think the CReader can read all of the codes thrown, you need a BT cable for that. |
