NE1 install the BMW mud flaps on their E 92?

Usually, I install the factory mud flaps on all my cars as soon aspossible. It seems that in my area of SE PA they seem to go crazy with cinders in the winter and stone chips in the summer. I know some don't like the look, but it IMHO, it is almost a necessity in my area. If someone has installed them, pictures would be appreciated. TIA!

I like them. I always have mudflaps installed as well. They do a good job of keeping your car clean, and keeping the areas behind the wheels from being sandblasted..

The HK crew had some pictures of E92s with mudflaps from a BMW event as well. I can't seem to find them at this time...

Overall, like on the E90, they don't look half bad. Works better with dark colors though, imho.

Hmm question then. What are the little things that stick out on each corner below the bumpers? I thought those were some kind of mud guards or flaps?

if you are talking about the flaps in front of the tires, that is for aerodynamics...

I just called the local dealership today to ask them about installing the mudflaps. They told me they'd call me back, and eventually they did, with a price of over $200 dollars for parts and install.....I'll admit I'm new to the Bimmer game, but doesn't that seem a bit excessive?

I have installed them on all of my cars. In fact, the factory made flaps are generally extremely easy to do. PERHAPS, you might need to remove the rear wheels to do it. Fronts generally only require turning the wheel to get access. If you can use a screw driver, you should be fine. The flaps usually utilize the existing fender screws to attach them. It is posssible that you could need a torx driver instead of a screw driver.
