smell gas out of the exahaust

Would BMW fix this if its under warranty. I can smell gas out of the exhaust and the car when its parked or driving . Its a 335i with 49000 k miles

What could it be

no its not that normal smell out of the exhaust, its like when you see those old cars that are blowing smoke out of the exhaust and smells, not that mine is blowing smoke, its a good example though for the smell

you just said it smells like gas. its gas.

if it smells like its burnt gas, its because your car was just running.

well it smells like its toxic for you, smells like a car for cash for clunkers would smell, one the ones that wont pass smog. does that help

why don't you just take it to the dealer man, explain it and all the variables when you smell it and have them take a look. you've got less than 1,000 miles left on your warranty so why not?

Is your SES light on? I had a leak in my EVAP system. A vent hose had a hole in it and everytime I shut off my car the evaporated gases in my tank leaked out.
