Horizontal Xenon aiming
Anyone know how to horizontally adjust the Xenons? Vertical adjustment is straight forward, but I can't find any other adjustment screws.
At a distance of 25 feet, my headlights are "cross-eyed". I'm following the correct process for adjusting the lights to spec. Thanks. |

There is no horizontal adjustment. Either the car has been wrecked and not repaired correctly, has a bad headlight unit or the bulb is not installed correctly.

Just loosen the mounting screws a bit, move the light and retighten. There's a little bit of play available, and at 25 feet a small adjustment will make a difference.

It was fine when I took delivery in 2009 (new from factory). The headlights were aimed a bit low initially, so I had the dealer aim them up a bit, which resulted in me blinding people. I followed the standard aiming process, which is when I noticed the right beam is pointing towards the left. The height is now perfect, so I guess another dealer visit is needed to get it right horizontally.

You can adjust it.
Basically there is a screw you turn to adjust it horizontally. Open the hood and look above the headlight towards the corner amber light. You should see a round rubber cap that is snapped onto the car frame. Pop that rubber cap off and you should then see a spot where you can put a star shaped screw driver. Turn the knob with the screw driver and that will move the projector in the horizontal position. |

I really wish people would keep their mouth shut unless you actually know what you are talking about. False information is completely useless and detrimental to helping the OP actually fix his problem.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=325187 In the first picture you see a small round circle rubber cap attached to the fender. Pull that off and there is a small adjustment screw that you use to adjust horizontal position. There is another cap in the same position on the drivers side. You need a philips head screwdriver(one in your trunk) to adjust them. The piece circled in red is used for vertical adjustment.
