It's an emergency release in case the mafia locks you in your own trunk. It's green because I believe it glows in the dark.

It is held on with clips, you should be able to clip it back on - unless you broke the clips.

Take a heat gun (hair dryer works too) and heat up the small pin it sits on. While applying heat, wedge a flathead screwdriver into the middle to separate the sides.

Mine kept falling too.

its also probably the truest. I cant see any other reason why any car would need that other than someone being locked in the trunk.

Well I am 99% sure that is the reason for the emergency release pull tab, it's been featured in cars for awhile. I just liked the Mafia locking you inside reference.. pretty humorous... got me to LOL.

I'm not sure you even need the manual for THAT question.

That's the manual release of the fuel filler flap. I also think it's one time use, so you might need to have it replaced or being looked at by your dealer.

Best regards,
south

I'll take "Green handles for $400 Alex"

Sorry - your answer of "What is the manual fuel filler flap release?" is incorrect
