Dyno'd Stock D
Our local car club had a Dyno day on Saturday. This was my first time doing anything like this.
Does anyone know how to rev match with the computer in an automatic? We waited until it hit fourth and tried to maintain rev's to set the baseline. I was told that their HP (Mustang Dyno) is computed by RPM's but the torque was a true mesurement if the friction coefficient is correct. This shop didn't have the info on the D, so they guesstimated based on the lighter weight sedan and added to it. I have heard that Mustang gives a more optimistic reading and I realize that most dyno's aren't that accurate. However, the delta between the same dyno before and after tune should still be accurate. I will post numbers once I scan the sheets - was around 302hp and 437tq w/o WCF. Advice?

that dyno reads extremely high for beeing a Mustang type. i dynoed mine 252 stock and 272 stage 3 stock boost.
With AT put it in DS , MT 4 and floor it from 1500 rpm without going into kickdown.

Actually, it was 427 (typo) or something around there. I will get the actual print out from my car sooner or later. In either case, seems way too high.
