Tuning box for 123d
Have found this unit on eBay. Not being the most knowledgeable when it comes to engines or tuning/chipping I wouldn't know if it was a good, or safe etc etc. Do you think it would work? Would it damage the car? Would it void BMW's warranty? Discuss......

Work? sledgehammer - walnut? yes but in a brutal just add fuel way probably. Damage? have you seen the price of Diesel Particulate Filters from BMW? ouch Warranty? do you really need to ask? if they know and its broken yes warranty will be fubar. If they don't know and its broken they'll probably have a good look to see why... There are better ways to get more out of the 123d but most will still put warranty at risk with factory. All just IMO |

Better off getting it remapped although that will probably affect the warranty if it throws any tuning codes. DMS and p torque offer flashes, bluefin has their own superchips loader, so I think you can flash back before you go to the dealer.
