BMW 1er M Coupe. By Jon Sibal.

Jon Sibal has rendered the 1er M Coupe for the online magazine Autoguide.

Including the details of the LCI which will be launched with the 1M Coupe and refreshed 1er Coupe and Cabrio models.

The only issue is that the side intake is a bit too three-dimensional , but it looks as if it is the inner painted section from some angles.

Thank god the mirrors look better. So far theyve been really ugly.

that front end looks great.

the side vents look god awful. they should just incorporate the m3 fenders somehow.

we need a more functional diffuser!

I doubt this is the last version of this we'll see. Notice how somewhere on the way from the front to the rear, the CF roof disappears...

I agree, the side intakes are too busy. There is plenty going on on the front end already. It's on the thin edge toward boy racer.

I think he did the earlier render with a steel roof and then redid it with a CF roof. So he's showing both approaches, not meaning to suggest that the roof is part steel and part CF. I think you can find front and back views of both alternatives on ************** or on his picture hosting website.

This statement is confusing, Scott. Can you explain this?

Wonder why he did that to the side vents (double vent), looks like he took a big chunk of creative licence and ran with it

Front has cf roof, rear pic is without, or do my eyes deceive me? Point being Scott says there is only 1 issue with the car (the vents), but is he talking about the car with or without the cf roof?

Hi guys. The reason that the front quarter view has the cf roof was that it was an older rendering. I left it out intentionally in my recent rear quarter view rendering as there are no definite confirmation from BMW.

The renderings look fantastic-- great chop, Jon . I don't know if I like the side vents though-- they look kinda busy.
