Is this blu ray and does it come with wireless rears? I did quickly google it but couldn't get a definitive answer

BluRay - Yes; Wireless rears - No (but is wirless LAN capable for streaming).

You could always just not connect them and then they'd be wireless rears

Hey mate, going well up here

I actually picked up a 60" LG plasma a couple weeks ago and was holding off on the 5.1 system but this one might work. Will get back to you. I just missed out on a similar deal LG was offering too
