Goodbye 335i
Well, last wednesday I finally surrendered my 335i back into BMW NA...
Sad day to say the least. I had never gotten sad about giving up a car.... But, once I did go to the bank to cash the check... I won't lie: it did put a nice smile on my face. And now I'm in a Z4 for about a year, give or take, so no reason to say goodbye to this forum I've learned a tremendous amount of information, made many new friends, and spent a whole lot of money.... lol My last drive was quite fun... since the remaining gas in the car was going to be used by BMW, I didn't need to shift early to save gas My ~20 mile trip to the dealer, I kept the car in 3rd gear and at 80mph (with sprints to 100 here and there) almost all the way I loved it.. instant power, no delay when wanting to pass someone. Also no need to downshift and engine brake if needed my 933 pump and new software update held up very well; I also didn't notice even 1 instant where I lost any power It was about 90 degrees out. The engine oil did get very very hot: 320! At least I've never seen it get that how before. When I got off the freeway it did go down to the normal 250 though (within 1-2 minutes) I attached two pictures :P You can see more at the link in my sig

Yup of course lol
They'd kill me if they saw all that... plus they'd void the warranty and probably cancel the Buy Back I'm loving the Z4 Handles better, faster (Stock for stock), transmission is to die for (DCT), EDC is amazing, and interior is sexy (though a bitch to keep clean...) But it's noticeable nosier than the E93 (both top up and down) and the lack of rear seats as burned me once so far (reminds me of when I had the boxster) But I'm loving it nonetheless; much better than the 370Z I was considering (not that the 370Z is bad by any aspect, but it's not a hard top vert, or a bmw, nor did it have all the goodies this car has)

persian, tried to browse your posts and did not find what happened between the topic "lemonable" and your "last trip" before returning the car. Can you please share what happened and how did you get your car lemoned??

No offense, but that e93 hood is imo.
Congrats on the z4 though... that N54/55 is what holds us together through the lows (HPFP) and the highs (Most ever IEOTY awards!) |

He told me to demod I demodded Sold the parts. Went into service a couple more times 100% stock. Lawyer filed a claim. I found the Z4 on swapalease. I took over the Z4 lease. BMW Approved the Buy Back (I was extremely relieved because if they didn't I'd have two BMWs) BMA NA froze my BMW FS account. I drove a car for free for 3 weeks Inspection day was set. I took it in, inspector checked the car out etc. They took the car in -> :'( We signed papers. I got a check. I went to the bank and cashed the check -> I went home in my mom's SLK. Now I'm driving the Z4. The End. And the hood, although some don't like it, was absolutely gorgeous in person and the number 1 most commented mod. When it wasn't painted, people didn't like it (me included) but, once I had it painted, only a few people on this forum (those who are against anything similar to a M on a non-M) disliked it. It was my favorite exterior mod; no one had that paint job/theme Plus, no one dared cut me off When I was stock, I would get cut off a lot and I hated it. #1 i loved about my mod was no one dared cross my lane

Trust me, there is numerous more things I take advantage of (see my old thread about making easy money that was deleted almost as immediately as it was created)
Well, the car wasn't registered in my name, so it doesn't matter. Also, no where on this forum is there a picture of my license plate, so there is no way to link them together. Also, once the papers have been signed, even if they inspect the car and find something there's nothing they can do about it. My rear suspension was never put back 100% properly... and the cover on my rear shock is broken, but I have my entire rear suspension dissembled and reassembled under warranty through the dealer, so I could easily use that as a reason for it. Thanks Yup it is. Just need to find the offsets and put some rims on it

Either save money with a 370Z/used m3, or spend money on a Porsche C2S or a GTR
