2006 E90 Drivers seat not retaining memory
I just noticed my drivers seat is not retaining the memory anymore. Everytime I set my mirrors and seat and set the memory it does not hold. I can move everything and when I push the button it does not go back to the saved position. It will move as long as I hold button 1 down but not to the position I set it at.
Does anyone know what is going on and if this is something defective will my CPO warranty take care of this? My factory warranty ended last month, sucks if this is a real problem. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance! EricO

Seems like it only works if I continue to hold down the button. If I let go it stop moving. Anyone have this issue too?

I figured out what happened. Someone may have been playing with my iDrive as the seat position was deactivated. It is working again

Spoke to soon. It is acting up again. If I push the memory button the mirrors will go back in place but the seat will not. The seat will move if I continue to hold down the memory button.

I get this too if i try turn on the car or start the car before the seat finishes moving. Now i just let it finish moving before getting in.

Okay I just sent an email to cancel my appoitment. I figured out what I was doing wrong. You need to just have the ignition on with out the car running and the seat will move where it is supposed to. I think it may be a safety things so it does not readjust while in motion. So this seems to now be resolved.
