looking for a little help... will stock coupe 335i exhaust work on a sedan 335i ?

Unfortunately, the coupe is slightly longer than the sedan. I know on aftermarket exhausts some fit just by shortening the tips. However, with the stock exhaust the fitment may be harder to adjust.

As stated above, the exhaust tips "usually" stick out an extra half inch on a E90 if using a E92 exhaust.

I wonder if the N55 and N54 exhausts are the same. It would seem that with the N55, there is an opportunity to save on production costs, i.e. eliminate a CAT. If an ash tray door and cigarette lighter are worth saving on, imagine a CAT....

is that it ? the tips stick out ? how about bolting it up.. if it can bolt up just fine im ok with the tips out...

No, other than the coupe exhaust being longer, the coupe has an X-pipe while the sedan has a resonator in that place. Not sure about fitment.
