Just getting a post up here.

I got my 328i from AutorGermana BMW dealer in Puerto Rico. My experience has been very good so far. If anyone has bought a car in PR, please write about your experience with the dealership.

Same here. when I bought mine everything was o.k. But just wait for warranty or other type of service; will be a totally different story. Do not expect a class A service. I have taken my e90 325 twice, one to install a 6 cd-changer which took them 2 1/2 days and the other one was for an emission recall and oil change as well. I took my car early Wednsday and got it back late Friday without been washed. I contacted the BMWUSA customer service.

Hello guys, I just got my new 335i and I love it.

I also had problems with Autogermana Service, but it seems like they haven't change so much. Hopefully they'll get better once they open their new Service Center.

See you around

About time someone opened this thread. It's been empty for soooo long. So welcome and congrats.

The rides looks great. Hopefully theirs more than one BMW dealer in PR. That maybe the problem.

Firt time at this forum "corillo". My 335i coupe AlpneW/coral red alum,6mt spt/prem pkg is now in transit. It is suposed arive to SJ hopefully friday, if not first thing next week. I need some with proceed in PR. I am planing to order it to instal it after brake-in period. About Autogermana... not the best thing already, but I have faith the can be better than Euroclass VW, and Garage Europa Audi " if you know what I am talking about"

Take care guys!

Hey all,

I am currently in Indiana, here's where I purchased my E90 (@Sam Swope BMW). However, I am on my way to Puerto Rico and will ship my car next week. You guys are scaring me with the customer service horror stories from the Island’s BMW dealers. Here I get 100% Class A service, with loaner car, rapid turnaround, and detailed cleaning at every visit. Am I in for a big surprise when I arrive in PR? It'll suck to have a BMW and not get the customer service offered here in the states.

BTW, I am from PR (Levittown) but have been gone for a little over 23 years on and off. I am looking forward to "coming back home". I'll be there in a few weeks.

Peace!!!

Hi BassDue:

Yes, don't expect Class A service for the moment.

What happen is the dealer cannot handle the high volume of cars for service. If you request a car service appointment could take like three weeks. If you take your car for an emergency service, you have to leave the car by several days and not loaner car is given after three labor days.

They are building new facilities and the service should improve.

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid of that . . . Only one BMW dealer in PR. I'm sure there are more bimmers on the road over there than the dealer could actually handle . . . Guess we'll all have to pitch in and open a second one
